I currently have a small business, but am thinking about starting a new one. I thought my daughter and I could go into together to sell things like herbs, diatameous earth, supplements, essential oils, parvaid, etc.
We live in a very rural area and I am not sure how successful that would be. Does anyone think things like DE and herbs would be very profitable for someone just starting out?
Starting a "wellness" business?

Hi,
I don't have any experience at all in this area but I do know that there is a tremendous global interest in health foods and nutrition etc. If you have tested the market locally and you get customers then great. The diference is when you are selling locally you are selling the product but also yourself. On the internet you have to have a well designed website that grabs attention and gets sign ups. Before you even get to that stage you have to generate traffic and you do this by full SEO and gradually improving your page rank. This takes time and I don't know how much you can give it but don't rely on the internet to sell a new product because it takes time. regards, Mal. |

I would suggest also making sure you do an internet business as well. Set up a website promoting your herbs and stuff.
Granted it can be difficult getting traffic to your site, but I can help you with that, if/when you get to that point. Just find me.....I'm all over the net! :) Let us help you succeed at your internet business. Join Now Is The Day for tips, tools and tricks! It's free to join!
