I am just starting out and am looking for a program that can be accessed on the Internet and will help me to schedule appointments, keep track of clients, expenses etc.

Does anybody have any advice on any particular program or where I might find one?

Look around Google webmaster tools and some of the Google Lab pages. There might be something there that will help you out.
