Can anyone tell me or recommed to me a way on how I can make some money from the internet. I am a british citizen living in Switzerland. As I am still learning the language here I find it hard getting a full time job. How can I use the internet to make cash?

This is something that I have struggled with for a while - I setup the site a few years back to try and help me decide but I just got sidetracked with learning about the web and didn't put as much work into the site as it deserved (until now!)

One thing I've found about the internet is that there is a website about absolutely anything and that these websites use programs such as Adsense or CJ.com (amongst others) to monetise their sites.

The best way forward probably is to pick a hobby or interest of yours and do a bit of research about it - see what other sites offer and how they make money from their site - checkout sites like Digitalpoint.com and Sitepoint.com for great ideas about making money from websites.

It might be a good read and provide some insight into how a simple hobby can generate some much needed cash.

Well there are plenty of ways to earn money online. One way has already been listed and thats online blogging which is usually a negotiated price and probably will only pay a grocery bill for the week or maybe even just a lunch depending on who you've signed with and what you are blogging on. What I suggest as a webmaster is to learn something resourceful such as a coding language html, css, php are really big ones. Learn all 3 and you can earn an easy 10-70GBP a week. Other ways are by creating online business such as hosting companies of all sorts or sites such music lyrics, download sites, articles, educational, etc. Money can be earned by developing and selling them for more than you spent on it or by inserting advertising on it such as google adsense which will send you a check once you hit a USD amount of 100. Which is about 60GBP

Like stated above money can be earned by numberous ways through using the internet. filling out surveys, designing for people the internet can provide a large monetary source.

You may also try joining PTR programs, filling out surveys, or doing autosurfs, although this requires an initial investment.

I fill out surveys. It does not pay alot but its something.
Also I have 2 sites that have basic content on them on topics that I enjoy. This brings me in anywhere from $20-$200 per week depending on traffic.

Hi Chris,

Until you get a good feel for what you would like to do as a business venture on the internet, you may want to try data entry or surveys etc as there are lots of companies looking for workers. Not too exiting I'm afraid but it will give you some income to keep you ticking over.
