I'm Sharon Horswill and I run BusinessVibe, an information site specially for UK network marketing. When I started in network marketing a few years ago it seemed to me that all the information and advice was American and the whole sales culture is different in the UK. I also made all the mistakes known to man. I built up a team of nearly 200 people and didn't know what I was doing and it turned into nightmare. I left and so did most of the team. BV should save others a lot of grief! I'm writing an article about the mistakes I've made but there are so many it's taking ages to edit.

We will have tons of free downloadable resources in the new year. I have them on my computer. I'm just a non-geek when it comes to putting them on the site! We also have a lending library system so you can get your hands on training materials.

I'm personally involved in three network marketing companies. One is a party plan company and my friends and I do that because we love the products and it's a laugh. One is an online thing that's making a surpising amount of money with me not doing much. It will fund a lot of advertising for BusinessVibe in the new year. One is the big wealth opportunity that I've been looking for for a few years.

I won't tell you which companies I'm in as I'm on here to join in the community and tell you about BusinessVibe, not to bug you about joining my companies.

I'm an accountant in the "day job". I'm happy to give some free accounts/tax guidance on here time permitting (January is always hell ....). I'll post a separate thread about that.

I've been an accountant for 25 years (I'll just go and check my age is hidden ... ) and see which businesses make a profit, which businesses have crippling running costs and which employers make people redundant etc. Working from home building your own business is definitely the way to go!
