We are currently looking an additional person who will work for us at home for the following
role:


What we are looking for to begin with is 4 hours per day of web site updating and general call taking.

This will involve adding new products to the web site oakfurnituresolutions and keeping the site updated with changes, new adverts, sales items, adding references etc. The person we select will not need to be a computer programmer or web site developer but just have very good computer literacy; as the system for adding information and products to the site is straightforward and set up for users.

On top of these duties the person will also take calls from customers from the site, directed to their landline telephone. Calls not taken are directed to an answer machine. The customers will be calling for a variety of reasons such as: product information, web site sales, discounts, updates, delivery queries etc. We currently receive approximately 10 calls per day, and these would be taken whilst working updating the site. This call level is set to rise as we are in the middle of rolling out new product ranges on the site.

You must be sharp, have a mature work attitude, pragmatic, have keen attention to detail, have your own office or room which you can use as an office (this must be a quiet room as you will be taking calls), have the flexibility needed with a new but growing company and enthusiastic.


This role will initially start off as 4 hours per day of admin/call taking and may grow from there. Hours could potentially increase to a full day within 3 months. Our last recruit started as 3 hours a day but was working full time within 8 weeks. We can not guarantee this but it shows the level of our company growth. We do need someone with the flexibility to assist our company’s growth.


Initial Hours per day - 4
Hourly rate - £6 - £6.50
