Default Halloween

I know this is a very serious forum, but let's bring a little light in here. lol. What's everyone doing for Halloween this year? Do you have kids that you're taking trick-or-treating? Are you going to give out candy? Are you going to dress-up, go to a haunted house or a party?

Last year, I gave out candy, but there were almost no kids that came by here. I also went out of town a little before Halloween to go to a haunted house, and, yes, I dressed up. lol.

This year I didn't plan on doing anything, but my friend wants to go clubbing. I have never been to a club before, so I don't know if I'm going to do it or not.

Ok, now it's your turn. What are you doing?

Even though I'm 23 I want to go trick or treating! Kids look bigger these days anyway
It's free candy...who'd pass it up?

LOL! I'm 20, and I haven't done the trick-or-treating thing in years! lol. I think the closest thing I have done to trick-or-treating was when I dressed up and went to the zoo for their Halloween stuff that they had going on. They had a bunch of stands set up and the radio stations were there. It was really fun. I dressed up as a witch, but not a scary witch...I pretty witch. lol. I got hit on by the radio station guy.

I can't wait to have kids so I can take them trick-or-treating!! I would dress up and walk up there with them, but I wouldn't get any candy. I don't really like candy much. I love going to haunted houses though!! That's my favorite thing to do is dress up and go to a haunted house.

I will most likely help my sister get dressed up. Then I'll probably stay home and watch scary movies on tv the rest of the evening, passing out candy when the doorbell rings. I can't wait!

Since I am a mommy of a 5 year old, we are definitely doing the the trick or treat thing this year. After trick or treating we are going to watch some Halloween movies/shows, but with a 5 year old we of course don't have too many we can watch. Maybe a "Spongebob" Halloween special or something.

I am not sure yet whether I'll disguise myself this year, I always wanted to do some sort of mirror-covered costume that confuses everyone

leighdu, there are a lot of Halloween movies that come on the Disney Channel and all. They aren't too scary. My fav Halloween movie is the Nightmare Before Christmas, but I think it's more Christmas-y...

Oh I love the Nightmare Before Christmas!
We took our little ones out for a bit and then passed out some candy.

I ended up not trick or treating but stayed at home to give out candy. No one I knew gave out any to more than 3 kids! We had 3 small groups and that was it. What's happened to the holidays?!

It's too dangerous. lol. At least that's what everyone says. I think most people go to public trick or treating things. Like here they have a bunch of stands set up at the zoo where the kids go around and get candy and are able to see all the animals. Then there's the mall. I never went trick or treating at the mall, so I don't know how that works, but I'm sure it's similar to the zoo.
