Default What programs have you been scammed by

I have been very careful for the last few years. In the earlier years though I have been scammed out of time and money by the following programs, some are no longer online.

Paidemail.com
Dollarbuddy.com
GCDetective

There are a few other paid to read programs I don't remember their names.

Please add to the list if you have been scammed.

There was one paid to read program that ripped me off but that was AGES ago, I cant even recall the name. Since then, I've been really lucky and haven't had any bad problems with sites so far.

I have been extremely lucky and have yet to be scammed. I am extremely cautious of everything that I do online. Of course, I haven't really gotten into the work at home stuff much. I have looked at lots of links, and decided against them for one reason or another. I have gone through about 50 links, which I'm sure is not near as many as some of you more experience WAHers.

Same answer for me! A number of years ago, I started doing a lot of those
kinds of programs. Most of them did indeed pay, but once in a while there
was one that just disappeared. It kind of soured me from wanting to do
those kinds of programs anymore.

Being cautious of everything is a good thing, normally if they say that they'll pay money for you doing nothing and emphasizes it, then it's probably a big scam

I did an online dollar store that started out only costing me 1.97 as long as I canceled my two weeks. When I went to cancel, I realized that they had failed to tell me that it was before two weeks and it was already past the deadline in their time zone. They ended up billing me 39.95, as opposed to the 29.95 that was advertised (the fees had changed by then, you see.). So, I canceled it anyway, lost about $42 dollars and have been warning people away ever since. The site was "mydollarshop.com". Stay away.

This is a great thread. Thanks for starting it - it's so important to warn others of scam sites.
