Wink Thanks for advice

If anyone is looking for a work at home job, he/she becomes a fair game for the work at home scammers. At least I know many stuff of how scammers appear:
Long explanations on their websites then they as you to pay.
YOU SHOULD NOT PAY FOR ANY WORK AT HOME JOB when there are FREE ONES.
Should you?

Talking Re;Scams

Having to pay to sign up is my problem, I have no issue with certain monthly fees and the costs associated with starting your own work at home business, but having to pay just to learn about the company is totally not right in my eyes.

Just my opinion though
I wish all looking to succeed much success

Most companies require a sign up fee to cover marketing materials/ training/websites etc.

BUT the good ones like the Utility Warehouse offer ways to refund your money. The Utility Warehouse saves domestic and business customers money on their home phones/ mobiles/ internet/ gas and electricity www.prosperouslife4u.com

You can have your money back in 3 ways - full refunds if you decide you don`t like the business within 14 days; full refund if you introduce 12 customers to them within 90 days, and refund minus any marketing materials used if you change your mind within 90 days.

You get a huge pack for your money - for first 50 customers plus training you can go on as often as you like - no charge plus a free website like mine above and a lot of support in the back office of this website.

So rather than automatically dismissing home businesses that have a sign up fee, check whether they have a refund policy.

Talking RE:

This is just my personal opinion, everyone to their own !

I have signed with a company that stated your exact words

" full refunds if you decide you don`t like the business "
But I never received my refund.
And this statement..
"full refund if you introduce 12 customers to them within 90 days"
Sorry I wouldn't touch this business at all, again just my opinion

I wish you the best of luck in what ever you decide to do.

Sincerely
Samantha Jane

Hi samantha Jane
I am sorry you had a bad experience with the Utility Warehouse.

Was it within the 90 day period that you sent your kit back?

I have only ever had 1 person leave early and he sent his kit back after the 14 day refund period, plus he had used some marketing materials as he joined himself and they still gave him the full £199.75 back.

So why it did not work for you I am not sure.
If you sent all your stuff back within 90 days you should have got your money back. Did the person who signed you up not help you do this?

chris

Is Herbalife still considered a scam today? There was a guy who first asked about my food expenditure and then went on to suggest, hearing of my healthy appetite, to lose weight using a milk shake product they have. I thought that was, well, scheming marketing on his part, especially with him venturing on several assumptions just because I like to eat.

Anyway, his marketing strategies aside, he also said that Herbalife trades on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). It would not have been accepted to trade in the NYSE if it was a scam, now would it?

Something to definitely be wary of is when the "opportunity" is presented as a sales pitch.

I had one of these call when I was exploring possibilities. I can't remember what the name of the company is but one of the recruiters called my home in response to my request for more information, which I find irritating. I left an email address, use it.

Anyway, her pitch used terms like "joining a caring family of...." and " we all use the products". An alarm goes off in my head when I hear emotions instead of figures, and When "we all use the products", "we" aren't bringing in fresh sales, in my book.

It depends on the extent of the ripping off. I mean, slipping in their own products and advertising is really not good but isn't a scam. The ones that take your money and do nothing and give you nothing - that's ripping off. I never pay for anything.
