Hi,

I too used to have Dial Up, mostly just for fun but when I started my internet business, it coincided with me getting ADSL broadband ( UK ) and living near to an exchange I can get 6 - 8 Mb speed which is plenty for me but is classed as slow I would imagine in some parts of the world who are talking about 25Mb and 50Mb and more which is mind boggling.

I can't imagine how I could possibly run my business with Dial Up as it was so slow and frustrating and from a business point of view it would be useless because it would disable my telephone.

I read a post recently in another forum about saturation point on the Internet which was just about laughed off the forum because with faster speeds, more trade being done every week and more people coming onto the Internet, we are still in the early days of trading in my opinion and more and more companies are committing large advertising budgets to the medium and they wouldn't do that it the Internet wasn't thriving.

success to you all,

Mal.
