The only web 2.0 marketing tool I have had any luck with was StumbleUpon, but the conversion levels were rubbish and apart from a load of sucked bandwidth I've really seen no benefit.

I have considered hiring a professional copywriter to generate some linkbait for me but I'm not sure I can justify the cost with no proof of potential return...
