Depending on where in the world your are (UK!) and which supplier you go for, you might be better of getting a Cable connection (depending on availability). There are lots of "cheap" ADSL Suppliers, but they sign up so many people that the connection can become over subscribed and you end up paying for a connection speed your never actually going to get!!!
